Pre-Congress Courses
Advanced Paediatric Emergency Care (APEC)
The course is composed of two main sections: In section 1, entitled "Evidence Based Management of Common Emergencies", the student will be exposed to an evidence-based clinical approach to common paediatric emergencies. The structure of the topics will be a presentation followed by a group discussion. Section 2, entitled "Advanced Paediatric Resuscitation", is designed to provide both the knowledge and skill to manage advanced life support of both the critically ill and injured children.
